The Campus Military Liaisons are recognized as one of the strongest supports for addressing the needs of military students and families. 

Liaison’s major duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Integrate the military-connected child into the campus
• Reports to the principal and/or UISD Office of Federal Programs on transitional issues and/or needs of the military students/families
• Communicates information about military-connected students with the principal, teachers and school staff
• Serves as school advocates for the Antonio Gonzalez Middle School military community
• Provides support for military-connected students and their families
• Maintains a student-led transition program to assist military-connected students
• Coordinates activities, specifically for military-connected students and families
