We will begin by learning the basics of what social studies is then we will focus on countries from Asia, Africa, Europe, North and South America.
Goals and Objectives
All students are expected to complete their classwork in a timely manner. It is also my goal to ensure that every student is able to learn in a respectful and friendly environment. I understand the challenges this new school year brings but I know that by working together we will be successful, the theme this year is “Together Everyone Achieves More.”
Grading
Grading will be determined by classwork, quizzes/tests, projects, etc. If a student is absent, depending on the number of days you are absent will determine the time you have to complete the assignment. For example, if a student is absent for 1 day then that student will have 1 day to complete the work that was missed. Late assignments will be accepted but please understand that points will be taken off each day the assignment is not turned in. Please note that students will be given ample of time complete their assignments. If for whatever reason an assignment cannot be completed due to an emergency please contact me in a timely manner either through email, Class Dojo or by phone.
