Relay For Life

Welcome to the Relay for Life for Antonio Gonzalez Middle School!
Relay for Life is an inspiring event held outside of our school premises,

where teams gather to walk all night in solidarity with those affected by cancer.

At AGMS, Relay for Life holds a special place in our hearts as we honor and remember individuals who have battled cancer.
Among them are cherished members of our school community:
Mrs. Reyna, our dedicated 7th-grade ELAR teacher,
Ms. De La Cruz, our 7th and 9th grade math teacher,
and Ms. Ornelas, our esteemed 8th-grade CATE teacher.

We lost Ms. Ornelas to cancer on April 8th, 2024.
Her memory lives on in our hearts, and we are committed to continuing our support for this cause until a cure for cancer is found.

Through Relay for Life, we strive to celebrate the lives of survivors,

remember those we have lost, and support ongoing research efforts to combat cancer.
